About the Film:

The Mormon Connection will be an unprecedented documentary which will seek to highlight the global network of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (more commonly referred to as the "Mormon Church"). This will be accomplished through documenting the experiences of 5 individuals traveling across Europe using only the resources, network, and people within the Mormon church. 

The Mormon Connection exposes, documents, and highlights the unique global network that church members have which can connect members from different backgrounds and cultures.  There really is nothing else in the world exactly like what exists within the global community of this fascinating religious organization. The Mormon Connection is more than a concept, its a unique phenomenon which exists within this very unique organization. The team has also partnered with The Mormon Explorer, a website which connects LDS travelers with LDS hosts, offering accomidations such as opening their home, offering meals, tours of their city, even invitations to Church activities.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

What Will The Money Go Towards?
 

All funds generated from this crowd-funding campaign here on Kickstarter will go towards various film and production expenses.

These expenses include but are not limited to:
 

Production/Editing/Post Production
 

• Professionally edited through a pre-selected film production company

• Sound Mastering and Soundtrack Recording

• Professional Recording of Soundtrack

• Mastering of Soundtrack

• Film Sound Mastering

• All songs featured on the album will be original songs composed and written by Brandon C.W. Johnson (singer/songwriter)

• DVD/Blu-Ray

• Original Motion Picture Soundtrack "Miles Away From Nowhere" CD (All songs featured on this soundtrack will be original songs written and composed by Brandon C.W. Johnson, singer/songwriter)

• Online Media Channels ( i.e. Netflix, iTunes)

*Various other costs including marketing costs, miscellaneous licensing and copyright fees, and travel expenses within Europe are all associated costs.
 

You're generous financial contributions towards this project will directly benefit the production, distribution, as well as quality of the documentary.
 

*Please note that our quota of $7,500 is the bare minimum financial amount required for film and production expenses. This quota assumes using the tools and assets the team currently has to complete this project. The team currently has the capability to film (standard filming equipment and film editing equipment).

However, the quality of the film largely depends upon you, the backers,  on Kickstarter!
In short, the more money we raise towards this project, the higher quality and caliber of documentary we will be able to deliver. It is our hope that this documentary will be available for view large-scale and widely distributed.
